Dawn Shumate is an aspiring independent photojournalist living in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. She delights in homeschooling her two children and volunteering as librarian for La Leche League of Boone. Favorite pastimes include learning about photography, making handmade crafts, hiking outdoors with her family and entertaining friends.
