Recently, I had the plea­sure of accom­pa­ny­ing the kinder­garten class, at my sons school, on their expe­di­tion field trip “Water, Water, Every­where”. Every­one was delighted to learn about and explore a nat­ural moun­tain spring and a thriv­ing, critter-filled creek. Here, a stu­dent shows off one of his dis­cov­er­ies for the day: a craw­dad. The stu­dents briefly stud­ied what they found, then released all the lit­tle crea­tures back into the creek.
